Jennie Ottinger

An exhibition of paintings. Her newest series of works explores spaces and characters to create a loose narrative surrounding a seemingly gruesome trial. Ottinger's careful use of the gallery creates boundaries between the authorities, the accused and the audience. She carefully investigates these structures of authority while presenting characters who are both mundane, and at the same time, eerie and disturbing. Opening reception: Saturday, July 10, 3-6pm.
