Munich Contempo

Postpalast, Munich

The premiere of the Munich Contempo – International Contemporary Art Fair is taking shape. The “Postpalast” in the heart of Munich will be transformed into a complete new work of art, which will represent the contemporary and cutting edge art and design.

A special show from Wolfgang Joop, whose work until now has only been shown in museums, will welcome art lovers, collectors and guests of the Munich Contempo exclusively behind the entrée of the fair, which has been designed according to sketches by the Avant-garde architects, O.S.A. of Munich. The Fair’s programme is international, its image is clear and unique.

Half of the expected 40 galleries which are exhibiting at the Munich Contempo come from Germany, alone seven from Munich. The remaining exhibitors come from Finland, France, Portugal, Spain, Czech Republic and Turkey. The focus lies on high quality works of art of the established contemporary and the emerging art. Suspense and a lot of new features awaits the visitor inside the "Postpalast".
