sintesi del comunicato stampa

The Mother of Pouacrus. The exhibition, curated by Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld for Feedback Ltd, presents new 22 paintings by the young French artist Nicolas Pol. He has an apocalyptic vision of the world, yet his aesthetic is at once seductive and sensual with its strong use of colour. Nicolas Pol tells fragments of stories. His paintings can be apprepective. ''I have no regularity. When I don't hended both from afar and close-up. From a distance one identifies tend to want to have fun. I'm seeing a chaotic composition, a sort of deliberate visual cacophony that expresses the violence of its internal oppositions. There, already, is a story. Close-up, contrary to appearances, one may scrutinize a series of organized narratives, ill-treatments inflicted on such or such old master, on whichever famous figure or invented logo. Revolt. Anguish. Pleasure. He lets himself be guided by his instinct and his instinct for contradiction. Like music that is a mixture between Punk and Wagner put into painting. Other stories...''.
