Beginning with the first thing that comes to mind.
In February and March 2011, Fluxia is presenting two short solo exhibitions
dedicated to Alfred Boman (February 3-25) and Raphael Hefti (March 3-25).
Raphael Hefti lives and works in London. He studied at the ECAL in
Lausanne, Switzerland, and the Slade School of Fine Art, London.
Hefti uses photography as a sort of experimental method, a tool with which
to analyse and explore the history of materials and his interest in
scientific discoveries.
In his first solo exhibition in Italy, Hefti shows a series of seven unique
color photograms intitled In memory to Phlogiston, obtained putting the
spores of the plant Lycopodium directly on the photographic paper and using
light to sculpt the space within the image.
Raphael Hefti (Biel, Switzerland, 1978). Recent solo exhibitions:
2009, Things in the Air, Museum Bell Park, Kriens.
