The final solo exhibition in the Triology series on the Swiss photography
Next Level Projects is pleased to announce the winter program, The Trilogy, a look at Swiss photography now. The participating artists Jules Spinatsch, Patrick Hari and Ruth Erdt are a diverse selection from Zurich that reflect different generations of the Swiss art scene. The three solo exhibitions encapsulate at the point of departure the fabric of photography displayed by contemporary artists who chose to transform the traditional values of photography by working with the interface of mixed media, installation, sculpture, painting and drawing to play with the viewer's perception of photography traditions and photography now. By challenging cliches and general acceptance that a photograph is a record that reflects, the artist's work opens the door to reality through context, giving rise to a new vocabulary in the language of photography, what it means to make photographs about, rather than simply as, works of art.
