Space In Between
Space In Between. The show aims to reveal relationships between time duration and ambient sound. The process of photographic exposure combined with body movement in response to environmental sounds, such as those found in a landscape or cityscape, creates the image. The ambient sound will determine how the artist moves and what is captured through the lens; the images record an experience: it is his bodily movements in reaction to ambient sound combined with analogue photographic exposure that creates them. The abstract, timeless quality of the work encourages the mind to contemplate. Opening night Thursday March 3, 6-8pm. Admission free.
