Venghino signori venghino! Lo studio Mammafotogramma è entusiasta di presentarvi uno spettacolo incredibile!

Benvenuti al Mammafotogramma Design Circus: il più grande spettacolo di tutti i tempi. Non si sa da dove vengano. Non si sa cosa siano. Li abbiamo catturati in terre lontane e per la prima volta li ammaestreremo sotto i vostri occhi increduli. Le signore chiuderanno gli occhi e i bambini strilleranno. Qui tutto vive, qui tutto si muove.

Le diverse attitudini del nostro studio creativo si incontrano per dar vita all’incredibile Mammafotogramma Design Circus.
La ricerca nel campo del design e della progettazione si fonde qui, per la prima volta, con l’esperienza dello studio nell’animazione stop motion. Il risultato è sorprendente, inaspettato; qui non c’è nessuna fusione fra arte e design, qui non c’è nessuna contaminazione fra le arti. Questa è tutta un’altra storia!

Questo è il Mammafotogramma Design Circus.
Un cantiere in continuo divenire che durante i giorni del Fuori Salone (12-18 aprile), tra rombi di motosega e spruzzi di colore darà vita ad una rara serie di elementi che andranno a costituire l’arredo urbano site-specific del fervido polo di via Ventura, nuovo cuore pulsante della settimana del design.

600 assi da ponte verranno tagliate, spezzate, incastrate e colorate per creare elementi d’arredo dotati di vita propria che mordono, saltano e si nascondono nell’ombra.
Venite al Mammafotogramma Design Circus e sotto i vostri occhi verrà addomesticato e consegnatovi il vostro sgabello da compagnia, una seduta portatile che vi accompagnerà nel duro rito del Fuorisalone.

La ricerca dello studio MammaFotogramma nasce dall'interesse di indagare un linguaggio trasversale e complesso quale l'animazione. E' proprio dalla produzione cinematografica animata che il nostro studio fa i suoi primi passi all'inizio del 2008 per approdare, ben presto - grazie anche alla composizione eterogenea del gruppo - ad esperienze che spaziano dalla più tradizionale produzione audiovisiva, fino a progetti interattivi in cui sperimentare le infinite potenzialità di coinvolgimento del pubblico attraverso immagini in movimento, ma anche oggetti, strutture in materiali differenti, da toccare, attraversare e vivere a 360 gradi.
Proprio l'esperienza diretta di lavorare con le mani - usare i materiali più disparati ed assaporarne la poesia, costruire set in miniatura, fotografare veri pupazzi - che ci guida attraverso tutte le nostre avventure, che ci spinge ad affrontare i più svariati percorsi espressivi, ma soprattutto a condividere con lo spettatore questa passione, un opportunità per vivere realtà parallele, metafisiche o comunque “altre”, di riscoprire la bellezza di un lavoro fatto a “regola d'arte”. MammaFotogramma studio non ha pregiudizio alcuno e non limita il suo campo d’azione a singoli settori, cercando invece di giuntarli fra loro in un incastro senza viti fatto di animazione stop- motion, design, progettazione, grafica e scenografia.
Sperimentando tradizione, innovazione e la negazione di tutto quanto appena detto.

Welcome to “Mammafotogramma Design Circus”, the greatest show ever!
We don’t know where they come from, we don’t know what they are. We’ve captured them in far away lands and for the first time we’ll tame them in front of you. You’ll be in disbelief, all the ladies will close their eyes, all the kids will scream and cry. Here everything lives, here everything moves.

The different attitudes of our creative group meet to give life to the unbelievable “Mammafotogramma Design Circus”.
The research in the field of design and planning melts here for the first time with the master field of Mammafotogramma Studio, the stop motion animation. The result is amazing, unexpected; here there is not any fusion between art and design, here there is not any contamination among arts. This is a whole other history!

This is the “Mammafotogramma Design Circus”!
A creative, continuously developing yard that during the days of the “Fuori Salone”(12th-18th April), between roaring chain saws and vivid colours, will give life to a rare set of elements that will become the urban furniture of Via Ventura’s living neighbourhood, the new pulsating heart of the “Settimana del Design”. 600 bridge boards will be cut, broken, installed and coloured to create furnishing elements endowed with proper life that bite, jump and hide in the shadow!
Come to the “Mammafotogramma Design Circus” and, right in front of you, a brand new stool will be crated, giving you the chance to rest during the hard days you’ll have at the Fuorisalone!

The Mammafotogramma Circus is finally in town, don’t wait to visit it!

MammaFotogramma Studio
Mammafotogramma Studio focuses its research interest on animation, a complex and transversal language.
In 2008, our Studio moved its first steps from animation but quickly realized that new expressive means had to be discovered. Today we keep on with animation, but we also project, develop and realize much more interactive projects and shows, where the audience is involved by moving images, tools and objects that can be touched, crossed, experienced and fully lived.
The experience of working with our hands, of using different materials and, consequently, of feeling the inner poetry of tools and objects, led us to the idea of sharing this pleasant feelings with our audience. Experiencing materials, creating colours, designing moving objects are great opportunities to live unexpected experiences, to discover a parallel world, to finally experiences the beauty of art and creation.
Mammafotogramma Studio doesn’t have any prejudice towards any form of creation. We try to join different expressive field like stop-motion animation, design, graphics, scenography and projecting.
We experiment tradition, innovation, a mix of the both, we create things according to what we mentioned above and according to not yet discovered ideas and techniques!
