The exhibition brings together works by ten photographers, developed during a research project in 2009 in the Elephant and Castle's area in South London: Poulomi Basu, Marcia Chandra, Rebecca Harley, Julian Lass, Marta Moreiras, Freya Najade, Marco Pavan, Duncan Robertson, Valentina Schivardi, Brett Van Ort and Studio at the Elephant. Unfolding through a close collaboration between the photographers and the residents, traders and commuters who gravitate to the site, the resulting project creates an engaging and multifaceted portrait of the changing Elephant. The exhibition is organised in partnership with 'Studio at the Elephant', a three-month residency programme in unit 207/208 of the Shopping centre initiated by Eva Sajovic and Rebecca Davies. Opening reception Friday 13 May 6.30-8.30pm.
