Fur Kinder / Beschriebene Kombinationen. A video and sound installation featuring a projection of the artist's hands, which are set against either a black or white backdrop, and projected right-side up. Nauman systematically shows all possible combinations of the four fingers and the thumb. Nauman's interest in 'hands' as well as his work exploring how sound can define space is found in many of his early works.
