The fair is first event in the new, purpose-built, Viaduct Events Centre on Auckland’s harbourfront, a 5 minute walk from downtown. Included in the price of admission are free daily panel discussions, guided tours, artist talks, an interactive kid’s programme and fully licensed cafes and bars on site.
Event highlights include the glamorous opening Vernissage on 3 August and keynote lecture by Knight Landesman, the colourful and provocative publisher of Artforum. Plan to make a weekend of it.
