Tredicivasi. A collection of 13 large vases in pewter produced by NUMA
Tredicivasi (13 vases) presents a special collection of thirteen large pewter vases, designed by switzerland-based architect Mario Botta. The vases are formed from tin plates which have been melted, shaped, and welded by hand into a variety of interesting voluminous forms. all pieces are also hand-brushed and polished. Five of the works are produced in a 33 edition limited run by Italy's NUMA, the small-run contemporary design house of Serafino Zani industrial design company. Opening Friday 23 September 2011 at 7 p.m. The artist will be present.
