Fifty or so remarkable historical photographs and documents retrace the history of the Palais du Trocadero (1878) and the Palais de Chaillot (1937) from the excavation of the hill in 1866 to the present day. These exhibits reveal the varied history of the place over the years and the events that took place there. Descriptions and photos by anonymous individuals and key personalities, enthused by the aim of the exhibition, are superimposed over the architectural views.
