An architectural and engineering competition for a research centre
EDF decided to set up the Group's largest research centre on the site of the Saclay Plateau (91), in response to new challenges in the energy sector. In early April 2010, EDF accepted the project submitted by architect, Francis Soler, following an architectural and engineering competition launched in October 2009 involving 6 agencies; Cuno Brullman and Jean-Luc Crochon; Odile Decq and Benoit Cornette, Francis Soler, Emmanuel Combarel and Dominique Marrec, Dominique Perrault Architecture and Bernard Tschumi. This exhibition presents the results to the public.
