Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec

Vitra Design Museum, Weil am Rhein

The brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec rank among the most influential contemporary designers. Their ideas are often inspired by shapes and structures of nature. The exhibition presents sketches and conceptual drawings of the Bouroullecs and draws attention towards the medium of drawing itself, which has kept its importance even in times of computer visualizations. This offers fascinating insights into the inspirations of the designers, but also in some preliminary stages of their final creations.
