LABoral Art and Industrial Creation Centre, Gijon
An audiovisual project by the Asturian filmmakers Luis Argeo and Ramon Lluis Bande
An audiovisual series by Luis Argeo and Ramon Lluis Bande. (ende) has arisen from a journey, a road map, which in this first release is based in western Asturias. The series is a collection of film portraits of different people - randomly chosen during this journey - who live in areas which in some way represent a border; they mark a frontier. In this way, Argeo and Bande raise a series of reflections on the concept of territory and the cultural and social transformations that can be seen along it during short trips. 'Visualising Sound', 'Art and its Sounds', the presentation of 'Photosynthetic Concert' by Paula Pin, and 'Serendipity' by Helena Torres are accompanied by the Spring Planting which is organised by ecoLAB. Although the celebration will be held throughout the year, the Centre of Art and Industrial Creation in Gijon has prepared a packed programme of activities which culminate in the weekend of 30th March, the date which marks the fifth anniversary of the Centre's opening. As a prelude, on Thursday 22nd, (ende) is opened and put on display in the different spaces of LABoral's Sala Nueva.
