With String-scape, Evy Jokhova weaves a representation of the urban landscape, drawing on the rich architectural legacy of the East End and traces of the city's past. From the heavy bombing during the Blitz, to the modern regeneration of the 50s and 60s and the recent Olympic redevelopments, the weight of this history achieves lightness through a series of performances drawing in space with coloured string.
