The School of Inversion. For his solo exhibition in the Hayward Project Space, Korean artist Kim Beom presents a series of works that wryly and unpredictably engage with the subject of education. Working in a deliberately low-fi style and using a variety of media including drawing, video and sculptural installations, Kim inverts cultural norms by placing objects, animals and viewers in absurd situations, and turning conventional roles upside down. Opening tuesday 17 July 6.30-8.30pm.
