Urban art fair. During 4 days, the art fair presents the diversity of urban art and culture in all its dynamic facets, forms and colors, staged by the different exhibiting galleries, projects and live performers.
While the classic Berlin art business is still struggling with its "dance round the golden calf",
the young generation relies on its own rhythm. And Berlin as cultural melting pot – and not
as market place of the super-rich – provides the perfectly fertile ground for alternative
ideas. Art market is not like any art market! At the moment the STROKE URBAN ART FAIR
represents this vision more obviously and successfully like no other german art fair.
With its broad range of fresh, non-conformist and affordable art works, the Munich edition of
STROKE URBAN ART FAIR again set a benchmark double the amount number of its original
visitors number early this may. And regarding the upcoming Berlin edition, the organizers
are even willing to reach one step further: „Due to our continuously decreasing participation
fees – right now we’re offering a participation fee that is calculated at one-tenth of classical
art fairs fees – we try to set standards against the sometimes absurd business dealings
going on in the art sector and revert the focus, away from record breaking auctions and
multi-million art collectors, back to what art is all about – the art.“
In Berlin, the STROKE URBAN ART FAIR takes place from September 13th to 16th, 2012 at
the Postbahnhof and marks itself as THE alternative to the usual suspects of the Berlin
Kunstherbst. During 4 days, the art fair presents the diversity of urban art and culture in all
its dynamic facets, forms, and colors, staged by the different exhibiting galleries, projects
and live performers. Being young, fresh and non-conformist.

order to bring the aesthetics of anime "on stage" during the fair.
