The 2012 edition brings together both local and international artists, dealers, collectors, museums and art enthusiasts, to engage in a vibrant exchange of art and culture.
Art Platform -- Los Angeles, the modern and
contemporary art fair for Los Angeles, demonstrates the rich and diverse
cultural landscape of Southern California and underscores Los Angeles’
integral position within the international contemporary art world.
Bringing together the local and international artists, dealers, collectors,
museums and art enthusiasts that play important roles in the vibrant Southern
California art community, Art Platform -- Los Angeles emphasizes the
increased recognition of greater Los Angeles as an international art capital.
Ideally positioned at the crossroads of East and West, Los Angeles has long
served as a meeting point for the exchange of ideas, information and
commerce. Art Platform -- Los Angeles will exploit that position to provide
unprecedented access to Los Angeles while also fostering a vibrant
engagement between exhibitors, visitors, artists and collectors.
