From Mon 29 Oct until Mon 19 Nov, an exciting community exhibition will be opening celebrating the collective response to Lone Twin’s Cultural Olympiad project: Collective Spirit, the hand crafted yacht made out of donated wooden items brought forward by people from all over the South East (50 of which came from Portsmouth).

The exhibition, held at Aspex Gallery will feature spectacular flags by Jonathan Parsons inspired by local memories, and stunning photographs by Aaron Bennett.

There will also be a programme of live early evening performances including dance and poetry. This exhibition truly encompasses the community spirit of the city!

The Boat Project is in partnership with Portsmouth Festivities, Gunwharf Quays, Southern Co-Operative and Arts Council England.
