More than 50 organisations-including museums, foundations, galleries and cultural organisations come together to present a cultural programme that will reveal Istanbul's burgeoning art scene and the cultural transformation it has undergone in the last decade.
Istanbul's first art week, Art Istanbul, begins this autumn. Running from the 19 to 25 November, the event is the initiative dedicated to offering a city-wide platform to contemporary art from Turkey.
More than 50 organisations—including museums, foundations, galleries and cultural organisations will come together to present a cultural programme that will reveal Istanbul's burgeoning art scene and the cultural transformation it has undergone in the last decade.
Art Istanbul is creating a key moment in Istanbul's cultural and artistic calendar and draws both local and international audiences to the programme of events across the city.
