After the phenomenal success of first edition of India Art Festival, a modern and contemporary art fair in November 2011, the second edition of India Art Festival is scheduled from 28th November to 02nd December 2012 for five days at MMRDA Main Grounds, Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Bandra(E), Mumbai, India .
MMRDA Main ground located centrally in BKC opposite Bharat Diamond Market is a venue for more than 50 exhibitions/ expos /fairs per year that take place in the financial capital of India, Mumbai. Bharat Diamond Market is the world's largest diamond bourse (Exchange) spread on 2 million Sq.Ft area which houses India's 2500 diamond traders.
BKC is one of the planned business districts with more than 500 corporate offices including corporate giants like JP Morgan, Dow Chemical, Citigroup, Trident, National Stock Exchange, NABARD, IL&FS, SEBI, ICICI Bank, UTI, SBI, StandChart Bank, Wockhardt, Bharat Diamond Market, BOI, IDBI etc. Even institutions like American Centre, Dhirubhai Ambani International School, and American Consulate have expanded their base to BKC, Mumbai.
The second edition of India Art Festival at MMRDA main ground, Mumbai, is planned on a mega scale and quality of art; it will house 150 booths in a temporary air condition structure with separate video lounge, auditorium for speakers' forum, media stalls and food court, spread on more than 15,000Sq.Meter area. IAF 2012 will have huge outdoor sculpture park with ample parking space.
