Slumberland. A new series of images inspired by her son's dreams and nightmares. He defeats his fears and embarks on a journey towards the unknown.
This new series of images show sequences from a young boy’s nightly dreams, inspired by my son’s dreams and nightmares.
Accompanied by a monster the boy views from a distance the wonders of civilization and great adventures. But they also embark on journeys of their own.
It is about taking that step out of the ordinary and to view things from a new perspective; with the boy’s gaze. At night the street where he lives turns into a magical place, and escorted by his toys he enters the world of computer games. There is a boat at sea transforming into a great voyage. He defeats his fears and embarks on a journey towards the unknown.
