Compossibilities. Video, painting, drawing and photography works from the last ten years
In cooperation with the V-A-C Foundation Moscow, the Kunsthalle Erfurt is proud to present the first solo exhibition of works by Olga Chernysheva (*1962) in Germany. The exhibition, curated by Silke Opitz, features the main subject of the artist's work - the (simple) individual as part of contemporary, post-socialist society, and in particular, of neoliberal Russia, which Chernysheva masterfully portrays in her multimedia works. On view video, painting, drawing and photography works from the last ten years. A german/english book of works will be published at Hatje Cantz.
