Salt of the Earth. Exhibition of the Japanese photographer and filmmaker
Yuichi Hibi, born and raised in Nagoya, Japan, lives and works today as a photographer and film director in New York. As a photographer, he gained an international recognition through three books, published by the well-known publishing house Nazraeli Press. His works have been shown in exhibitions and are present in many international private and public collections. The art critic Vince Aletti sees in Hibi's photos links to the works of Robert Frank and Daido Moriyama, or to the imagery of the "film noir". As a film director, he started with documentary films. Opening from 7 p.m. till 9 p.m, free.
