Fluid space : The team of be baumschlager eberle has continued the work of Christian Hauvette's agency since 2012. The verb « to continue » has been carefully chosen, as it reveals the architectural proximity between Hauvette and the work of be. As Hauvette, be seeks architecture as a medium that requires responsibility – in the present, as well as in the future. Architecture deals with consistency and with authenticity. Architecture optimises peoples' living environment. It constitutes a framework that also contains the moment of change.
The relevance of architecture : be paris represents an architecture matched initially to the performance of real needs. Practically, this means designing buildings which optimize living environments by generating identity for locations. In addition, be paris aims to define architecture as an aspect of art: architecture which institutes space for cultural positioning of the medium, and personal visions through abstraction of practical values.
