A Group Painting Show featuring David Cahill, Doug Cox, Dominick Domingo, Gaela Erwin, Louie Metz,
and Michael Pearce
Circle Elephant Art announces an exhibition of six figurative painters:
David Cahill, Doug Cox, Dominick Domingo, Gaela Erwin, Louie Metz, and
Michael Pearce. Louie Metz and Michael Pearce have shown previously with the
gallery, while David Cahill, Doug Cox, Dominick Domingo, and Gaela Erwin are
making their debut at Circle Elephant Art. These six artists all share a
focus on the figure in their works, with a nod to traditional technique and
means of representation. The methodology of this preoccupation with the
human form is the continuation of an ancient reverence for the
contradictions between the apparent beauty of the idealized physical body;
and the desire to explore its complex symbolism and psychological
conditions.
All gallery events are free and open to the public. You are encouraged to
forward this information to any and all interested parties. Circle Elephant
Art's director, Bert W. Green, is dedicated to discovering and exhibiting
quality work by early and mid-career artists. Show preview can be found at
