Fifth edition. This year the art fair will return to its original location; Infipendent will feature over fifty international galleries and non-profit institutions representing fourteen countries.
For its fifth edition, Independent will return to its original location at 548 West 22nd Street between 10th and 11th Avenues in the heart of the Chelsea gallery district.
This year will feature over fifty international galleries and non-profit institutions representing fourteen countries.
ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN:
The architectural design of the exhibition spaces, which will reflect the spatial and curatorial concerns of the galleries and institutions, will be designed in collaboration with Andrew Feuerstein and Bret Quagliara.
2014 CATALOGUE:
In collaboration with media partner Mousse, Milan, a limited-edition publication that reflects the ever-evolving spirit of Independent will debut at the fifth edition of the exhibition.
Independent 2014 was conceived by Elizabeth Dee and Darren Flook and developed in conjunction with creative advisor Matthew Higgs and Director Laura Mitterrand.
