Photographs 1975 - 2012. Philip-Lorca diCorcia (b. 1951, Connecticut) is one of the most important photographers working today. This is the first UK exhibition to show works spanning his career, offering an opportunity to appreciate the development of diCorcia's work. This large-scale survey contains over 100 photographs from six major series. Male prostitutes, unsuspecting passers-by, pole-dancers and diCorcia's own family members are among the hundreds of people featured in the six series of photographs. Snapshot-like images belie the meticulous choreography of diCorcia's compositions that draw out moments of psychological complexity in scenes of everyday life. Press Preview: Thursday 13 February, 11am - 3pm.
