This exhibition is intended as the last show at London Street Projects.
Many artists were asked to create a work of any kind so as it is
mailed/postmarked/delivered by the U.S. Post, addressed to London Street
Projects; and so the piece physically passes through the mail slot in the
front door of the project space. No thematic framework was given except
to encourage a work expressly created FOR London Street Projects. Aspects
of foregoing possesion of a work after it has been delivered was also
emphasized when artists were invited. In addition, L.A. artist Daniel
Mendel-Black will create free-standing sculptural "display armatures" on
which some work may be installed.
