Classes and Professions. The fourth part of 'People of the 20th Century' features more than 127 pictures representing the portraits of students, scientists and actors, as well as soldiers, Nazis and aristocrats.
With every exhibition, the complete work of People of the 20th Century is assembled in a year-‐round cycle presented by FEROZ Gallery. After “The Farmer”, “The Skilled Tradesman” and “The Woman”, the gallery will show the fourth part of the work, “Classes and Professions”, from June 18th to August 29th. “With more than 127 pictures, this is not only one of the biggest groups in the cycle, but also the one that better illustrates the social tensions of that time”, explains Julian Sander, great-‐grandson of August Sander and owner of FEROZ Gallery. In 18 subgroups, the diverse character of German society in the early 20th Century is represented in the portraits of students, scientists and actors, as well as soldiers, Nazis and aristocrats.
Julian Sander is glad to invite you to the opening of “Classes and Professions” on June 18th at FEROZ Gallery in Bonn.
