E’ veramente un grande piacere poter ospitare Katia Lupò nella mia galleria, luogo in cui da trent’anni ha ospitato i più noti Maestri dell’arte contemporanea. Il mio pensiero oggi si estende a questa interessantissima artista ,che attraverso un suo lungo percorso ci presenta un gruppo di ultimi lavori, manifestando la sua maturità ed esperienza .Mi accostai alle opere della Lupò con curiosità e molto interesse. Documentandomi dalla tipologia del colore alla ricerca del tema in esso contenuto; sì perché è proprio dal colore e dalla materia che inizia tutto. Trovo molto elegante e raffinata la sua esposizione e la sua nomenclatura elevata, intesa non come semplice denominazione di oggetti attraverso un titolo ,ma dalla sintesi di un linguaggio, che solo pochi riescono a leggere ed interpretare.

La sua opera è il riflesso della sua personalità vitale ,rigorosa, discreta, che lascia intravedere la sua più alta capacità intellettiva ed introspettiva. L’ aspetto determinante di manifestare una linea o un’emozione è dato dallo sfondo monocromatico e dal suo filo spesso sovrapposto ad un altro legato all’infinito, creando così un legame. Equilibrati e armoniosi i suoi legami ,questa linea altalenante ,sottile e spessa ,leggera come una grafia ,che tende a rinnovarsi , rendendo alla fine la visione piacevole al nostro occhio e al nostro animo. La mostra che presenta oggi ed è un’ importante occasione per respirare dal vivo questa vibrazione . La sua tecnica pittorica e la sua orchestrazione cromatica hanno come base l’arte del disegno ,tutto è imperniato sul sostegno originario della linea.

La Lupò è un artista moderna ,perché vive nel suo tempo e con il suo tempo donandoci elementi esaustivi e volutamente pertinenti al nostro clima sociale ed artistico. Il futuro è lì, vivace e giocondo tra fili e legami ,nodi e parallelismi di una lirica sempre più ricercata. Storie di segni dunque ,”capricci” di linee e sintagmi cromatici governati da una piacevole ricerca di luce parsimoniosa ,dimostrando un fenomeno pittorico calmo in contrapposizione ad una realtà sfuggente , un’esperienza dell’essere attraverso il gesto e la materica visibilità della traccia cromatica. Microcosmi strutturali di un’assoluta necessità di espressione, vivono ,provocando e non di rado esasperando il colore, quasi a voler riprodurre attraverso la studiata casualità delle loro dinamiche compositive l’evento di una nascita e l’affermarsi ed evolversi della stessa esistenza. E’ proprio questo, secondo me, l’elemento dominante e unificante delle opere” luponiane”, cioè l’attenzione al processo dell’apparire ed affermarsi, facendo sì che un’idea attraverso la tecnica diventi manifestazione sensibile di un’essenziale verità e cifra di una demiurgica accettazione delle intrinseche leggi della materia.

It is really a great pleasure to be able to accommodate Katia Lupò in my Gallery, where for thirty years has hosted the most famous masters of contemporary art. My thoughts today extends to this interesting artist, who through his long path shows us a group of later works, manifesting his maturity and experience. I approached the operas of Lupò with curiosity and a lot of interest. Read the type of color looking for the subject contained therein; Yes because it is precisely the matter and colour that begins all over. I find it very elegant and refined its exposure and its high nomenclature, intended not as a simple designation of objects through a title, but by the synthesis of a language, which only a few are able to read and interpret. His work is a reflection of his personality, rigorous, fair, which suggests its highest intellectual and introspective ability. The decisive aspect of manifesting a line or an emotion is given by the monochrome background and often overlapping wire to another linked ad infinitum, thereby creating a bond.

Harmonious and balanced his ties, this see-saw, thin and thick, light as a handwriting, which tends to renew itself, making the pleasant viewing at our eye and our soul. The view that presents today and is an important occasion to breathe live this vibration. His painting technique and its chromatic orchestration have as a basis the art of drawing, everything is centred on support from the line. The modern Lupò is an artist, because he lives in his own time and with his time giving us thoughtful and deliberately elements relevant to our social and artistic climate. The future is there, lively and playful between threads and knots ties and parallels a more sophisticated lyric.

Therefore, signs stories "whims" of chromatic lines and phrases ruled by a pleasant light parsimonious, research demonstrating a calm pictorial phenomenon as opposed to an elusive reality experience of being through gesture and the visibility of chromatic track material.
