There were no iconographic renewal attempts in Spain for its spaces
-geographicals, culturals, politicals. At least till recent times.
Today, some institutions use to call for this at prestigious authors of
the international scene. And they can get to take shape an collective
imaginary until that moment dispersed or without icons with enough
symbolical density. That is, they can use photography to make firm
identifying marks in deficit. But they also can use it to destabilize
predominant identifying marks. So, these programs advise the sense of
photographic texts in the frame of the dialectic Power / Subversion.
