Dark Matter brings together a collection of new work by Sardul Gill including black and white abstract paintings, monoprints and an installation made from found objects, which are stimulated by the artist's fascination with nature and theories related to energy and chaos. Sardul Gill won the NAE Award at the Nottingham Castle Open in 2012 and this exhibition has emerged as part of that prize.
Talk: During the exhibition launch event, writer François Matarasso will join the artist for an informal conversation about his exhibition and the evolution of Gill's work over the past 50 years. Arrive by 4.45pm to join this session.
Workshop: In October join Sardul Gill for an innovative monoprint workshop inspired by his exhibition.
