A curated event for international galleries and nonprofit art spaces: from canvases to large-scale installation by 110 selected galleries
A curated art fair for international galleries and nonprofit art spaces with a focus on emerging and midcareer contemporary art. From canvases to large-scale installation, additional happenings will include conversations, performances, and other special events. Founded in 2012, Untitled's third edition presents 110 selected galleries from 18 countries. Situated directly on the beach with natural light and ocean views, Untitled is working with internationally recognized architecture firm K/R. This year, the fair's artistic director Omar Lopez-Chahoud with the editorial team of Christophe Boutin and Melanie Scarciglia (co-founders of publishing houses onestar press and Three Star Books in Paris) have come to enrich the event with a special catalogue edition, and a series of posters. A collection of posters by internationally renowned artists that will be available for free to visitors at the fair from December 3-7, 2014. Printed on glossy paper in a limited edition of 1,000 copies. Original posters by: Lisa-Anne Auerbach(USA), Elvire Bonduelle (France), Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari (Italy), Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster (France), Mathieu Mercier (France), Jonathan Monk (UK), Slavs and Tatars, Mika Tajima (USA) and Lawrence Weiner (USA). Opening for its VIP visitors on December 1, 6pm-9pm (by invitation only): for Press on December 2, 1pm-3pm, and 2, 3pm-7pm (VIP card holders only).
