The retrospective exhibition showcases the work of many of the ArtCenter's most celebrated artists
This November, ArtCenter South Florida will present "30 Years on the Road", a retrospective exhibition highlighting the resurgence of Lincoln Road and the ArtCenter's many contributions as a creative hub. The exhibition will showcase the work of many of the ArtCenter's most celebrated artists who witnessed Lincoln Road's transformation. ArtCenter South Florida is a non-profit cultural organization under the direction of a board of directors and full-time staff. It currently hosts more than 40 artists providing subsidized studios, jobs and technical support. In 2013, ArtCenter expanded its residency programs by launching its Visiting Artist Programs to attract international artists. The exhibition is curated by Edouard Duval-Carrie', an artist and curator based in Miami who was at the ArtCenter in the early 1990s. It will encompass our two exhibition spaces, The Richard Shack Gallery and Project 924, as well as 924 Lincoln, the Lincoln-Meridian windows and four Windows@Walgreens locations. Opening Wednesday, November 19, 7-10pm. 30th Birthday party Saturday, November 22, 2014 7pm-11pm.
