The exhibition, curated by Rebecca Russo, is entitled ‘LIFE’ and will include 18 Photographs and a Video of stunning beauty.
The event is sponsored by AUB Photography Club and Videoinsight® Foundation www.fasv.it. It is made in collaboration with Marwan El Sabban, Professor Department of Anatomy, Cell Biology and Physiological Sciences, Director Biological Imaging Core Facility, Faculty of Medicine, American University of Beirut, Lebanon.

Pau Golanó (1965-2014) is Scientist, Artist, Professor of Pathology and Experimental Therapeutics at the University of Barcelona. His exceptional anatomical dissection skills and passion for education was quickly recognized by the orthopedic surgeons surrounding him. And it did not take long before his skills were recognized worldwide and he became the leading expert on orthopedic anatomy of the last decade. He devoted his career and life to the education of orthopedic surgeons, making them better doctors by teaching anatomy in the finest details. Over the years he has written many inspiring papers on orthopedic surgical anatomy in the KSSTA journal and his lectures at ESSKA courses and congresses were always extremely well attended. Together with the love of his life, Celine, he enjoyed travelling the world, meeting friends and sharing his knowledge. Pau Golano allowed us to be better doctors for our patients. In May 2014 at our ESSKA congress in Amsterdam he was honored with the prestigious ESSKA AWARD for Most Dedicated Individual ESSKA Member. This AWARD gave him the International recognition, which he deserved. He died on July 23, 2014 of a massive stroke (49 years old). He was at the top of his career. He had great projects in Qatar, Pittsburgh and Europe. Rebecca Russo launched Pau Golano’ as Artist on Contemporary Art scene on 2013.
