The exhibition featuring the works of 12 artists, who, working singly and in partnerships, have occupied studios at QM. Students from Social Practice Queens will also participate.
Marking the second year of its Studio Program, the Queens Museum presents an exhibition featuring the works of twelve artists, who, working singly and in partnerships, have occupied studios at QM during 2013-2014 and 2014-2015.
Participating artists include Nobutaka Aozaki, Juan Betancurth, Onyedika Chuke, Mike Kenney, Caitlin Keogh, galería perdida, Jewyo Rhii, Bunny Rogers & Filip Olszewski, Caroline Woolard & Lika Volkova, and Brian Zegeer.
The exhibition will take place in the new wing of the Queens Museum. The artists’ studios will open to the public during the opening celebration and on the closing day, Sunday June 28th.
Students from Social Practice Queens program will also participate. A partnership with Queens College MFA program, SPQ shares a collaborative studio space within the Queens Museum’s artist studio program. Participating artists include Sol Aramendi, Seth Aylmer, Scott Braun, Barrie Cline, Gina Minielli, Nicky Mourino, and Francisco Karmelic.
