Waveforms: Summer(time). In a collaboration between producer Myke Aaron and artist Rex Bruce waveforms generated from the music of pop diva Donna Summer are digitally manipulated and printed onto large canvases to create flashy abstractions. Graphic depictions of Donna's famous vocal hooks are processed to emphasize various aspects of time based audio data. The result is a fascinating and beautiful array of color, texture and form.
