The event has firmly established itself as the place to buy, sell, view and discover art in Scotland. The Glasgow Art Fair has grown to become the largest contemporary art fair in the UK outside London and is a landmark event in Scotland's cultural calendar. This year the fair will bring together a record 53 selected galleries reflecting the quality and diversity of work available to buy in Scotland, as well as attracting galleries from throughout the UK.
The Glasgow Art Fair is Scotland's National art fair. Now in its ninth consecutive year, this popular four-day event will once again take up residence in George Square in the heart of Glasgow's city centre.

Building on the success of last year's E X T E N S I O N space, the contemporary pavilion is back and extended for 2004. More organisations are taking part this year, including The Embassy, EmergeD, Limousine Bull, Market Gallery and Volume; and we welcome the return of Collective Gallery, Glasgow Sculpture Studios, Lapland and Switchspace to showcase cutting-edge work currently being made by Scottish-based artists.
Join Spin at this year's Glasgow Art Fair to chat about the work on display, get information about exhibitions and projects all over Scotland, and browse through the Spin library.
Spin is a membership scheme dedicated to the enjoyment of comtemporary art through informal discussions and visits to galleries, studios and unusual spaces. It is a joint initiative by the National Galleries of Scotland and the Contemporary Art Society.
Last year's event attracted 16,000 people, but there are even more reasons to visit Glasgow. The Glasgow Art Fair is part of RAW: Real Art Week, ten days of exhibitions, events and openings at key visual arts venues across Glasow, from 10th - 18th April.
