For the second time now different emergent artists as ELASTIC Group (Italy) will be given the possibility to present their works in a public space. In this case directly in display windows of shops in Neubau, one of the most culturaly active districts in Vienna.

For the second time now (13-27 of May 2004) different emergent artists as ELASTIC Group (Italy) will be given the possibility to present their works in a public space. In this case directly in display windows of shops in Neubau, one of the most culturaly active districts in Vienna.
DISPLAY takes place within the frame of the Viennese cultural weeks.
DISPLAY wants to reach a wider audience than only the specialized public of art-institutions.
The main thrust is to promote the annulment of separation of art and everyday life.
The project focuses on stimulation of the conscious perception of our social, political and historical surroundings through art: Art not as something supreme and distant, but as an actively creating and analyzing part of society, which everyone has access to.
