Artwork by Logik. 'Ego's Purgatory' is comprised of a series of acrylic and ink paintings, with various uses of spray paint. A narration of exaggerated images, and vivid colors, explores the personal perspective of the artist as he illustrates a dark satirical view of society. The artist investigates self and culture, and attempts to capture the purgatorial state, whether between black and white, tragedy and drama, good and evil, or heaven and hell.

by Logik.
'Ego's Purgatory' is comprised of a series of acrylic
and ink paintings, with various uses of spray paint. A
narration of exaggerated images, and vivid colors,
explores the personal perspective of the artist as he
illustrates a dark satirical view of society. The
artist investigates self and culture, and attempts to
capture the purgatorial state, whether between black
and white, tragedy and drama, good and evil, or heaven
and hell. Using a technique that draws from comic
books and graffiti, the artist takes the viewer on a
an intense visual journey, one that is both unnerving
and reflective of urban American culture at the start
of the 21st Century.
Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota Logik currently
residing in New York City. 'Logik', is not just the
name the artist writes, but also a studio philosophy
that fuses self-study with an underground urban
aesthetic.
