Encaustic in contemporary compostion with etched metal and minuscule bones barely describes the rich depth of McLaughlin's paintings. Placed beside and in ironic song with McLaughlin's work, intrude the large, beat up canvases of Andersen.

Encaustic in contemporary compostion with etched metal and minuscule bones barely describes the rich depth of McLaughlin's paintings. Her pantings are a mere half of her unusual presentation. Spent gun shells, clay nudes, metal
hardware come together to evoke tongue-in-cheek.
ANDERSEN
Placed beside and in ironic song with McLaughlin's work, intrude the large, beat up canvases of Andersen. fighting line, clashing colors depict a social anger and depict an attempt to capture such wrath in the enormous power of
nature.
