The Center for Fine Art Photography
This year's exhibition will present 127 works by 123 artists from 11 countries. Juried by nationally recognized Mary Virginia Swanson the exhibited work demonstrates the extensive variety of processes, subjects and treatments that gifted photographers incorporate in their creative works. The entries were open to both professional and amateur photographers, for all forms of fine art photography created in black and white or color, using traditional or digital methods or elements of both.
The Center for Fine Art Photography presents its 2004 Fine Art Photography Exhibition.
While the definition of fine art photography is always debatable and sometimes controversial, the Center defines it as visual art created primarily for its aesthetics, design and intellectual enrichment, encompassing both the traditional and digital processes.

The exhibition is hosted in the Fort Collins Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA)
main gallery in Fort Collins, Colorado. The exhibition runs from June 29 through August 21, 2004.
The Opening Reception is Friday, July 2, 6 - 9pm. The Artists' Reception and awards ceremony will be held on July 16, 6 - 9pm.

The mission of the Center is to promote photography as fine art, to support photographers through its educational programs and to inform the public about the collectible value of the art form.
