Sweep out Cottage. An exhibition of photographs by Peter C. Jones in conjunction with the release of his new book 'Sweep Out Cottage.' Sweep Out Cottage is a classic summer home in Little Compton, Rhode Island where all the pictures were taken in this exhibition between the years 1997 and 2003. Jones' images of windows, screens and flowers impart the tones and feelings of summer.

Bonni Benrubi Gallery is pleased to announce an exhibition of
photographs by Peter C. Jones in conjunction with the release of his new
book 'Sweep Out Cottage.' Sweep Out Cottage is a classic summer home in
Little Compton, Rhode Island where all the pictures were taken in this
exhibition between the years 1997 and 2003. Jones' images of windows,
screens and flowers impart the tones and feelings of summer. Curtains of
empty windows billow out as a golden breeze whips through the house
while landscapes taken through window screens blur into abstraction
beyond the squares of wire-mesh. Peter C. Jones attended the Rhode
Island School of design where he studied under Harry Callahan. He is the
director of The Center for Creative Photography in Tucson, Arizona and
has organized over 100 exhibitions throughout the United States and
Europe.
The book, "Sweep Out Cottage" will be available in June and is
published by Nazraeli Press.
