Stephen Colson, Mally Mallinson and Russell Oxley. The chief beauty of this exhibition lies not so much in its aesthetic or conceptual style, or in the extent and usefulness of the information it conveys, as in its simple truthfulness. Its works form the record of events (of sorts) that really happened (or will happen, of sorts). All that has been done is to colour them; and, for this, no extra charge has been made. Colson, Mally and Oxley are not poetic ideals, but things of flesh and blood 'especially Mally, who weighs more than twelve stone.

This, more than all its other charms, will, it is felt, make the exhibition precious in the eye of the earnest beholder; and will lend additional weight to the lesson†s that it's stories may teach.
