Every year we invite young guest artists from another artistic metropolis in order to create an international context. This year, the cultural exchange, which runs under the name of art position global, takes place on the premises of the gallery for the first time.

The exhibited artists share the use of media such as photography and video, and it is an essential aspect of the show to document in how far the foreign environment has influenced the artists and which common tendencies can be observed in their work.

A further elementary aim of the event certainly is the cultivation of international relations so that the cultural exchange between artists from different artistic regions can be continuously stimulated and nurtured.

Opening: Thursday, 04th of November 2004, 7.30 pm, opened by the cultural department of the US-Embassy and by Dr. Kolja Kramer, managing director of art position

Opening hours: Tue. - Fri. 10 - 6, Sat. 11 - 3 o 'clock
