The LeWitt Collection, based in Chester CT, where Sol LeWitt lives and works, is comprised of over 3,000 objects and includes work by major artists of the 20th century. Works from this collection are frequently borrowed by major museums around the world. This exhibition however, will focus on the work of emerging, unknown, under-exposed or under-recognized artists that Sol and Carol LeWitt have collected over several decades.
Real Art Ways has also worked to support artists early in their careers through exhibitions, commissions and publications. This exhibition reflects a spirit of supporting young, emerging and under-exposed artists that the LeWitts share with Real Art Ways.
