Vertigo's next exhibition Carbon Candy, works by Eric Butcher opens on the 19 November and we would like to invite you to the Private View on Thursday 18 November between 18.00 & 20.30.
This will be Eric Butcher's second solo show with the gallery. A series of painted metal arcs, plates and circles challenge and manipulate the gallery space, whilst the vibrancy and fluidity of the painted surface creates a tension between surface and object. Arched metal pulls against the wall, another piece enters the gallery wall and emerges the other side. Butcher engages with the space around his work, incorporating it into the work's meaning.
