New work by Wendy Wischer. Through photography, a light and marble installation, wall projections and glowing string, the artist explores the notions of searching and finding, hope and recognition with no beginning and no end. The show becomes a place where home is found in the sky and on the floor, in the past and in the future, in the tangible and the intangible.

Looking for Home is an exhibition of light and installations. In this new work, through photography, a light and marble installation, wall projections and glowing string, Wischer explores the notions of searching and finding, hope and recognition with no beginning and no end. The show becomes a place where home is found in the sky and on the floor, in the past and in the future, in the tangible and the intangible.
This Exhibition, with its light installations and objects, will also include a special showing of Within the White in the space next door during Dec. 3rd - Within the White consists of light and haze. This representation of the color spectrum is interactive and when viewed from either side, the light becomes completely white, the way you move through the light determines the optical effect from curtain like hologram to a sculptural object, the different colors give off different levels of heat and mood, as the audience moves through the piece, choreographed by the light, they then are performing for everyone else in the room allowing the audience to perform for itself.
